1943-2020
Katherine M. Palmer of Fredericton, NB passed away on September 27,
2020 at York Care Centre with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.
Katherine was born on July 15, 1943 at Hainesville, NB, a daughter of
the late Hartley and Mildred (Jones) Billings.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Palmer (Lorinda) and Roger Ward;
four grandchildren, Gavin, Graylen and Gabby Palmer and Brianna Ward;
siblings, Stephen Billings (Pam), Owen Billings, Elwyn Billings, Etta
Crawford (Ronnie), Donna Billings (Lloyd), Audrey Richardson (Gordon),
Darlene Brewer (Elmo), Paulette Hoyt (Fraser), Janet Billings (David)
and Fern Estey (Malcolm); an uncle Gerald Billings; an aunt Iva Jones
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother
Arnold, a sister-in-law, Alice Billings; two brothers-in-law, Walter
Crawford and Fred Brewer and two nephews, Steven and Wayne
Seveck.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 7 to 9 pm
and on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 12 noon until 2 pm, followed by
the funeral service with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Due to COVID
19 restrictions, the funeral service will be by invitation only.
Interment at Central Hainesville Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Katherine, the
family has suggested the Central Hainesville Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the nurses of the Dixon Unit of York Care
Center for their excellent care of Katherine.
