La célébration de
Karen Elizabeth Riley-Johnson
7 novembre 1951 –
30 novembre 2020
Passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Karen was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Predeceased by her parents, Joan (Stuart) and John Riley. Loving wife of 43 years to her beloved husband Eric and ‘momma bear’ to Benjamin and Daniel. Sister to Jonathan (Molly) and sister-in-law to Erin Abrams and David Johnson (Karen).
Survived by Roberta Macrae (Kevin) and many first cousins in P.E.I. The island was always a part of Karen’s life and she spent many of her summers with her husband and their children exploring the same beaches and visiting the same homes that remained in her family for generations. Karen was an avid writer and loved animals, particularly of the feline variety. She was always rescuing stray and abandoned cats, many of whom became a part of her family over the years. A special thank you to Dr. Hicks, Dr. Scully, Dr. Akbari, Dr. Jodi Warman, Dr. Nott, Dr. Kimpton, Dr. Mielnechuk and Caroline, as well as Dr. Reynolds, Anita and Laura. Thank you to all of the staff at LHIN and especially Rose, Jeff and Deborah as well as to all of the healthcare staff at St. Vincent. In the arms of the Angels. There will be a burial and service in P.E.I. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to make a donation, please consider your local animal shelter or rescue organization.
