Obituary of Justin Avery Hartt
HARTT , Justin Avery-age 72 of Shubenacadie passed away November 9, 2020 in the VG Site, QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax. Born in Windsor, he was a son of Ivy (Martin) Hartt and the late Avery Hartt.
As a retired shipping and receiving operator from Farmers Dairy Justin enjoyed taking day trips on his Spyder to the beach and other spots looking for gems and fossils. He was often seen enjoying a snack consisting of peanut butter; a favourite was chocolate peanut butter balls.
Besides his mother, he will be sadly missed by daughters; Pamela Hartt (Darren Livingstone), Elderbank; Robin Hartt (Morgan Cadene), Cranbrook, BC; grandchildren, Avery Barkhouse and Holland Hartt; brothers; Mike, Brian and Stephen; sisters, Iris Lively and Karen Hiltz; numerous nieces and nephews; the McGuire family and David Barkhouse.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his grandson, Malcolm Livingstone.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private celebration will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or an animal shelter.
