Obituary of Judson Theodore Bollivar
BOLLIVAR, Judson Theodore – Age 99 of Middlewood, passed away on January 10, 2020 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Middlewood on February 23, 1920, he was a son of the late Alonzo and Lillian (Weagle) Bollivar. He was proud to have served in the Canadian Armed Forces during WWII. He had a varied career and he was also an avid gardener and enjoyed working in the woods.
Judson is survived by his sons, Brian (Donna), Middlewood; Phillip (Glenda), Boutiliers Point; Kevin, Middlewood; sister, Lela Bollivar, Clayton Park; grandchildren, Amy, Andrew, Tanya and Candice; great grandchild, Connor. He was predeceased by his wife Doris; sisters, Muriel, Celia and Annie; brothers, Burton, Merle, Alonzo, Ivan and Frank.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater, where a visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. There will be a private family gathering held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater in celebration of Judson’s life. Memorial donations in Judson’s memory may be made to the Calvary Lutheran Church, Middlewood. On-line condolences may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
