Obituary of Judith A. Janisse
JANISSE: Judith A. “Judy” (nee Horne) –
A resident of London, and formerly of Chatham, Judy Janisse passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 89.
Born in Es County, Judy was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna (Thomas) Horne.
Beloved wife of 40 years to the late P. Mark Janisse (October, 2018).
Loving mother of Gregory D. Montague (Maureen) of Ottawa, Deborah J. Caron (Michael) of London and Philip C. Montague of London.
Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dear sister to Susan Wintermute (Gary) of Windsor and the late Robert Horne (2003).
Judy moved to Chatham in 1984. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, the St. Clair College Retirees and the Optimist Club of Chatham. She had a life long love of bowling and classical music.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with the Funeral Service to follow officiated by the Rev. Elaine Wilcox. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Victoria Memorial Gardens, Oldcastle, ON.
