Obituary
Ford, Judith Dianne (nee ton) February 15, 1949 – June 18, 2020 –
It is with great sadness that the family of Judith Dianne Ford announce her passing on June 18th, 2020 at the age of 71 years after a long and brave battle with cancer. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her only son Rodney Ford and his wife Rayna as well as her devoted and loving companion Pat Stanford. Judy will also be forever remembered by her sisters Millicent (Lionel) Dalton, Thelma (Donald) Monks, Ruby (Donald) Stead and Mary ton along with a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Judy was predeceased by her brothers Malcolm and Kenneth ton as well as her sister Jean (Alfred) Wheeler.
Judy had a genuine love of family and a passion for music, friends, dancing and good times. Everyone who knew Judy loved her dearly as she always had a smile on her face and was a generous and loving soul. The family would also like to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and home care workers that provided such wonderful care along the way. The staff at the Palliative Care Unit at The Miller Centre deserve a special thank you as their kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
Due to the COVID -19 restrictions there will be a family only visitation followed by A celebration of Judy’s life on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in Bonavista at a later date. This service will be live streamed, please visit www.barretts.ca and open the link provided to view the funeral service.
