Judith’s Obituary
Buchanan, Judith Mary Foster – Southampton, 73, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Springhill, she was a proud daughter of Lawrence Tower (Lorna Smith) and the late Margaret (Foster) Tower and loving grandparents, Chester and Maude Foster. Judy taught high school for 29 years in Oxford and Parrsboro. She was a sales director with Mary Kay for 25 years. She always considered herself lucky to have two jobs she loved. Every person was important to Judy and she always made them feel that way. Her greatest accomplishment were her two children, Aaron Buchanan and Carmen (Ashley) Baker; two grandsons, Mitchell and Max. She is also survived by sisters, Terry (Ken) Davey; soul sister, Nancy (Paul) Buttar; Lynn Paul; Holly (Greg) Hibberts; brothers, Bill (Lyn) Tower; Roger Martin; Jason (Jennifer) Martin; loving partner, AJ “Hoggie” Greenhow. She was predeceased by her biological father, Owen Martin and brother Rick (Canh) Martin. In keeping with Judy’s wishes, there will be a “Tea Party Celebration of Life” from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 8 in the Dr. Carson & Marion Murray Community Centre, Springhill. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium (902-447-2930).
