1928-2020
Joyce Reed of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at the
Victoria Glen Manor on the morning of November 6, 2020.
Joyce was born in Odell, NB, on July 1, 1928. She was the daughter of
the late Basil and Muriel (Sisson) Goucher. Joyce leave behind her
daughter, Carolyn Crawford of Plaster Rock, NB; her son, Peter Reed
(Cathy) of Plaster Rock, NB; her sister, Linda Lagace of Sisson Ridge,
NB; her grandchildren, Tom, Billy, Andrew, and Jeremy; her great
grandchildren, Dyland, Cody, Cami, and Adan; one great great
granddaughter, Olivia; along with many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Frederick Reed; her
sisters, Georgie Comeau and Mildred Breau; her brothers, Kenneth and
Gerald Goucher.
Joyce was a member of the Plaster Rock United Baptist Church. She was
also a former volunteer with the Tobique Valley Hospital
Auxiliary.
Respecting Joyce’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service held. A private graveside service will be held at the Linton
Corner Cemetery. Mr. Kenneth Campbell officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Victoria Glen Manor
would be appreciated by the family.
Joyce’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the
staff of the Victoria Glen Manor for the excellent care given to their
mother over the past 16 years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB
