Joyce Nykoluk Monday July 20th 2020

Joyce was born in Winnipeg on December 14, 1958 and passed away on July 20, 2020 at the the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 61 years.
Joyce is survived by her Daughter Melissa Nykoluk (Shaun Peters), and grandchildren: Dylan, Nevan, Kiana, TJ, Willow,and Sawyer. She is also survived by her brother Rick Nykoluk,and sisters Wendy Nykoluk, and Sandra Mazur.
She was predeceased by her father Steve Nykoluk, mother Heather Nykoluk, grandson in infancy Hunter Peters, grandparents John and Mary Nykoluk, and George and Florence Perks.
Joyce and her family moved out to the RM of Springfield with in 1975 where she spent her teenage years.
She was diagnosed at a very young age of hard of hearing and wore 2 hearing aids and always struggled with her hearing. She attended Mulvey Elementary School and Gordon Bell High School for hard of hearing students.
Once Melissa was born Joyce and Melissa spent many summers at mom and dads’s working in the garden and by the pool. Joyce loved to go fishing, often accompanying mom and dad on their fishing trips and vacations
She was a Girl Guide Leader for Girl Guides of Canada for many years. She was very talented at arts and crafts, and sewing she put her whole heart into each and every piece she made and would often be seen at different craft shows with her scroll saw crafts, beading, dolls, articles she sewed. Even until her passing she was always doing crafts and making jewelry, dream catchers, and her favorite was Diamond Art.
Joyce will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
