Gallagher, Joyce Elsie, 85 of Nakile Home for Special Care passed away peacefully on February 17,2020 at the home. Born in South Ohio she was a daughter to the late Irving Rhyno and the late Elsie (Allen) Kenney and Robie Kenney (step-father). Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 57 yrs Neil; son, Rodney; brother, Lawrence Rhyno; grandson, Scott. She is survived by brother Eugene Rhyno, daughters, Susan (Dennis) Amon, Rockville; Darlene Renaud, Massachusetts; daughter in law, Barbara Gallagher, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Rodney (Little Neil); Brenda; Sherri; Corey; Kelly; Kimberly; Casey; Tyler; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and special friend Clifford. Joyce was a homecare worker in her early years, also working in the Fair Department Store in Massachusetts. She loved to go for rides on the back of her husband Neil’s Gold Wing motor cycle, family get togethers with all the kids, thoroughly loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A Memorial Service will be held , Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2pm from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev A.D Bill Newell officiating. Interment in Chegoggin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to the Temple Baptist Church Seniors Club ,Shyft house or the Alzheimer Society.
