Peacefully surrounded by love and honour after courageous battle at Stedman Community Hospice on Wednesday, October 21st 2020. Joyce Suzanne Calleya in her 71st year. Loving mother of Kristal (Dan Beauvais) and Jesse Calleya. Devoted grandmother to Aydenne and Noah Beauvais. Protective and proud sister to Joanne Lavelle, Kathy Hinton, Jeannie and Tim Proll, Janet and Jamie Nobes, Judi and Al Bloomfield, June and Mark Stables, Jeri and Roy Charleau, Kim Hinton, Janie Emmett, and Jeff and Teresa Hinton. Predeceased by both of her parents Arthur and Dorothy Hinton, Brothers John, Jimmy and Joe Hinton. She is survived by and will live within the hearts and minds of numerous nieces, nephews, honorary children and grandchildren. Remembered by infinite friends, teammates and colleagues. She worked as a program supervisor at Lions McIinnes house for 20 years where her passion and care for others shone through. Her dedication to help others was a driving force for all the charity work and fundraising she did that not only meant so much to her but was a very important part of who she was. Visitation will be held at TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street Brantford on Tuesday October 27th from 6-9p.m. A private family service will be held the following day.
