Obituary of Joseph Norman Spada
Spada; Joseph Norman – It is with heavy hearts the family of Joseph Norman Spada, at the age of 80 and after a lengthy illness, announce his passing at Providence Manor on December 24, 2020
Joe is survived by his wife Nancy (Amey), daughter Andrea (Kevin), son Jeffrey, grandchildren Jacob and Olivia, his brother Alvin (Anne) and a sister Marcia. He was predeceased by his parents America and Marcello and a sister Madaline.
Joe leaves behind many lifelong friends he made through his various passions: conducting business as President of Spada Tile Inc., as a member of the Tile, Terrazzo and Marble Association of Canada where he served as President for three years. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Glen Lawrence Golf Club as well as a long-time member of Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. He also enjoyed his winters in Florida.
There are numerous people to thank for their care during Joe’s years of illness; special thanks to Doctors Andrew Ross, Anthony Sanfillippo, Damian Redfern and all the wonderful nursing and support staff at the KGH Cardiac Sciences Unit/Arrhythmia Clinic, Providence Care Hospital and Providence Manor.
As per the families wishes, there will be no visitation. A private funeral mass will be held at a later date.
Donations, in Joe’s memory, can be made to the UHKF Cardiac Care, UHKF Providence Manor Redevelopment Fund or to the Kingston Humane Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to James Reid Funeral Home.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Joseph
