Passed peacefully away on Monday February, 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the Leonard A. Miller Center, Josephine Evans, aged 81.
Predeceased by her Husband Gordon P. Evans; parents Josephine and William; sisters Theresa (Pat) Burke, Irene (Denis) Rose, Alice (Mike) English; brothers James Dooley, Bill Dooley and Harold Dooley; nieces Carol, Mary and Christine; nephew Clinton; mother and father-in-law Mary (nee Slade) and Paddy Evans; brothers-in-law Barney, Ronnie, Jimmy, Craig and Alec; sisters-in-law Sylvia and Paula.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Gordon (Tina Jackman), Rhonda (Cyril) Brown, Deanne (Brian) Harvey and Rod ( Penny Boulos); Grandchildren Gordie (Shana), Leanne, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Hudson; Great-grandchildren Aysia, Ayce, Isla and Teagan; siblings Mary (Bruce) Lupelow, John, Betty (Danny) Hynes, Gerri Dooley, Kevin (Debbie) Dooley and Carm Dooley. Also leaving to mourn all the Evans Families and a large amount of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to Betty for all her help at this difficult time. Also, a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the palliative care unit at the Miller Centre.
Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Wednesday from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from Caul’s Chapel on Thursday February 20, 2020 at 1 p.m. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
