Josephine Currey Armstrong
1924-2020
The passing of Josephine Currey Armstrong, affectionately
known as Josie, occurred Friday, January 10, 2020 at Orchard View Long
Term Care Facility in Gagetown, NB surrounded by the love of family.
Born at French Lake, NB on September 1, 1924, she was the daughter of
the late William M. and Fannie M. (Currey) Armstrong.
Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband
Lloyd K. Harris; two brothers, George and Bruce Armstrong and a
nephew, Bob Armstrong.
Josephine was a much loved member of the French Lake Baptist
Church.
Josie is survived by four nieces, Joyce Shanks (Fred),
Elizabeth Murray (Ron), Sharon Calder (Terry), Margaret Armstrong
(Bev) and a nephew Bill Armstrong.
There will be no visitation or formal funeral service by
request. There will be a graveside service held at the Armstrong
Cemetery, Geary, NB in the Spring of 2020.
For those who wish to remember Josie by way of a memorial
donation, The Geary, French Lake, Waterville Cemetery Memorial Fund
was suggested by the family.
The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the
excellent staff at Orchard View for the love and care shown Josie and
her family.
