Obituary
In Remembrance
My son Ben was born in SAP to a family of three brothers and five sisters of Karen and William Leask. Ben left home to go to school in Thompson—R.D. Parker High School year of 1998 where he met my beautiful daughter-in-law Renata. They were together for 13 years and had 5 children. Ben came home for a little while then moved to Winnipeg where he took care of himself until now.
He will be missed greatly from his bro’s Ralph, Jessie, and Willie; sisters Sheena and Shady; especially those facebook chats with Quinton and Ralph.
Ben was a kind man and was always willing to help in any way. He always had a big smile when he met you somewhere in the city.
My sisters Koreen, Peggy, Lorraine and Paula would tell me the good news that they were with Ben on the weekend or that they had seen him. My son wanted to be a man and be on his own. He took care of himself.
Benjamin is survived by: his children—Shaynata, Shaniece, Sequoia, Setaiyah and Wisdom; his mother Karen (Theodore); brothers Willard (Sharon), Jesse and Ralph; sisters Sheena and Shady; choom Harold (Harriet), Alec Audy, Albert Audy; Kookums Betsy, Emily, Elizabeth, Lucy and Vitaline (Roderick); Uncles Hughie (Delores), Nelson (Rosie), Ephrem (Sophie), Clayton; Aunties Nora (Fred), Della, Selena (Dennis), Ann Mary, Peggy, Lorraine (Colin), Koreen, Delores, Paula (Calvin) as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
