Obituary
Joseph Theophane Cornier passed peacefully in his sleep on December 18 th, 2020 at the age of 83. He is survived by his two daughters, Lisette and Rachelle and his two sons Maxim and Francis.
As a young man, greatly influenced but his love of music, he played guitar and regularly sang with his friends and family in large gatherings at their home in Campbellton, New Brunswick
Theo was a very creative man always building, fixing and welding. As a passionate inventor Theo could often be found tinkering away in the garage working on the next project
Theo was devoted to Our Lady of Fatima and during his life in New Zealand, Theo established a Rosary group in Holy Family Parish in Ruakaka, joining others in prayer sending hope to those in need.
In his home of Canada, Theo belonged to the Parish of Saint Patrick in Hamilton and actively participated in the choir and the Separated and Divorced group for over 25 years.
His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He will be missed by his children and all his sister’s, Jeanne, Marielle, Fernande, Marie Rose, Francoise, Marie Reine, all his family and many friends that loved him
A heartfelt thank you to the caring, compassionate and dedicated frontline staff at Heritage Green Nursing home.
A celebration of life will take place possibly at some time in 2021, when COVID-19 restrictions allow.
