Joseph Sinclair Monday June 15th 2020

Joseph Sinclair
October 1st, 1959 – June 15th, 2020
On Monday afternoon, June 15th, surrounded by his family, Joe took his last breath peacefully outside in the garden of Matthews House Hospice.
Son to Gwen and Harry Sinclair (Deceased); brother to Fred, James, Janet (Deceased), Dan, David, Susan and Sharon; father to Stephen (Jennifer) and Kate (Matthew), grandfather to Findlay, and husband to Diane. Joe was forever loving to his children, and forever devoted to his best friend and wife of almost 35 years, Diane. In the presence of his ceaseless love and courage, they were able to say goodbye, and will continue to celebrate his life each and every day.
Memories will live on: he was a motorcycle enthusiast that spent many great hours on the bike, he was a remarkably gifted and passionate craftsman, and music fueled him from morning to night. Each time an engine revs, a handmade piece of furniture is used, or a great rock and roll tune plays, he will be remembered.
Joe was incredibly proud of his two children, but they were prouder still of him: even in his final days his strength and grace never wavered, his love for his grandchild grew visibly stronger, and he remained entirely dedicated to ensuring the future happiness of the tight-knit family he weaved together.
He is survived by his wife Diane, his son Stephen (Jennifer), his daughter Kate (Matthew), his granddaughter Findlay, and his best friend and loyal dog Stanley, who will miss him tremendously.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Matthews House Hospice. Online condolences may be shared at www.druryfuneralcentre.com
