Obituary of Joseph “Roy” Etling
ETLING- Joseph “Roy” of Port Colborne passed away suddenly at the Welland County General Hospital on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 67. Loving husband of the late Bonnie Etling (2020), devoted father of Diana (Adam) Sneek and Andrew (Malorie) Etling, proud papa of Grayson, Harper, Bellamy and Rogan, brother of Art Etling and Jack (Gail) Etling. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Elizabeth Etling. W. Bro. Roy was an active member of the Masonic Lodge #169 of Port Colborne and Dufferin Lodge #338 of Wellandport. Roy always was in a good mood and had an infectious smile. He always would take time to catch up with his neighbours and friends. His family finds comfort knowing that Roy is reunited with his wife. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, a service will be held at a later time. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
