Joseph’s Obituary
SURETTE, Joseph Franklyn – age 67, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 4rd, 2020 at QEII Infirmary. Born in Yarmouth on August 23rd, 1953, he was the son of the late Melvin and Linda (Harrington) Surette. Joseph worked as a fisherman and later in life he changed careers to be a painter, he enjoyed fishing and carving. Joseph is survived by his loving girlfriend Thelma Saben. He is also survived by his sons Joshua Leslie and Adrian Leslie, siblings Geneva (Bernie) d’Entremont, Gertrude (Bobby) Doucette, Agnes (Dennis) Frotten and James (Linda) Surette. He is survived by four grandchildren. Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his brothers, Marcel, Nathan and Stillman. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By the request of the family there will be a graveside service at a later date.
