Joseph Francis Hanko. At age 35 his young heart came to rest. Joe was a creative spirit in the kitchen, at a computer, or working away on the sewing machine on a Halloween project. Joe also had a passion for volunteering and loved to share all his stories. Joseph is predeceased by his father, Frank Hanko. He will be greatly missed by his kitty, Milo; mom, Tena Boutilier, brother Sean; sister Taylor; Nana, Bea Boutilier; cuzling Malorie and all his family and friends. A private family service will be held on Saturday. Following the service, a reception for friends will be held at 36 Sea King Drive in Dartmouth, beginning at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Halifax or a charity of your choice.
