Passed away peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital Alliston on, 17 April 2020 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene Balogh. Beloved father of Irene Fatiga (Tom); Joseph Balogh Jr.; Edie Simpson (Dave) and Tibor Balogh (Magda). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Felicia Baldwin (Keith); Nick Fatiga (Nikki); Joseph Fatiga; Carissa Dolomount (Ryan); Crystal Sawatsky (Brad); Amanda Lee (Jordan); Great Grandfather of Noah, Lucas and Jamie; Felicia and Bella; Chase and Cameron; Jackson, Matthew and Brayden; Jaelyn and Alexis. Fondly remembered by other relatives and friends.
A private visitation will take place at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent Street Barrie) followed by interment at Barrie Union Cemetery.
As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to OSPCA or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca

  1. To my Dearest friend And part of our family we are deeply saddened by the passing of this wonderful and wise man . I felt like I was with him as he described the detailed stories of his life. To the best baker, gardener and personal friend I have ever had the pleasure of getting to share my family with. Joe my friend, we will miss you and your wife dearly and think about you often.
