Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan James Kelly Courchesne-van Gool (JJ) of Pincher Creek/Fort Macleod, Ab. On Dec 4 2020.at the age of 26 years old due to heart and diabetes compilations. JJ was born April 28, 1994 in Pincher Creek, Ab to Patricia van Gool. As a young man he grew up loving his Ford trucks, rodeoing, camping, fishing, and his Army Cadet Corp 2309. Where he excelled and would go on to travel to Whitehorse and Vernon to teach marksmanship every summer. Left to mourn his passing is his mother Patricia van Gool (Tracy Fraser), his dad Serge Courchesne, his sisters Stephanie Courchesne (Adam Lakatos) and Kiy-Anna Courchesne (Steven Mitchell); brother Junior Courchesne; his grandmother Darlene van Gool, and his best friend/brother Chandler Graf and many aunts, uncles, cousins and large extended family. He is predeceased by his best friend and poppa Kelly van Gool, his grand parents Aderlad and Rita Courchesne, great grand parents Hazel and Jim Stapleton, Gerald and Johanna van Gool (opa and oma).
A celebration of JJs life will be held once COVID restrictions have ended.
