William John Bennett Alfred Wells
September 28, 1933 – December 19, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Wells announce his passing on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Western Long Term Care Home, Corner Brook NL at the age of 87 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: Christopher and John (Shirley); sisters: Elizabeth (Ray) Rowe, Eunice Wells and Alice (Sim) Reid; brother: Roger Wells; sisters and brothers-In-laws: Jean MacDonald, Imelda Sparkes, Marjorie (Joy) Wells, Frank Jerger and Ed Arnold; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his wife: Kathleen (Dunne) Wells; parents: James and Fanny Wells; sisters: Marion Jerger and Jeanne Arnold; brother: James Wells; parents-in-law: Edward and Gertrude Dunne; Sister-in-law: Theresa Dunne; Brothers-in-law: Michael Dunne, Tony MacDonald and Robert Sparkes. At John’s request cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held later. Private family internment will be at a later date.
