John Suley 1931 2020

Obituary of John Suley
June 10, 1931 – January 4, 2020
John Suley was born in Bishops Falls. He was one of eight children born to Malcolm and Ethel Suley. On November 5, 1959, John was married to Lorraine Reid of Bishop’s Falls, and in the years to follow, they would be blessed with one child, Malcolm John.
John was blessed with regards to the number of musical instruments he could play with the exception of the piano. John loved it when his sisters and brothers would visit; it was a time of singing and John playing his guitar, mouth organ, violin, and the accordion. This would take place in the garage next door while his wife was probably in the house reading her Bible. Later on, John had a different outlook on life; he accepted Jesus into his life several years prior to going into the Carmelite House, until his passing on January 4, 2020.
John and Lorraine’s home was a good place to visit; you were surely welcomed by both. It was great, there was no problem getting a drink of chocolate milk, white included, after all he was the MILK MAN.
John was pre-deceased by his wife Lorraine, parents, Malcolm and Ethel, as well as siblings, Art, Liz, Grace, and Bill. Left to mourn are son John, sisters; Marie (Bill deceased), Bonnie (Rob deceased), and Linda (Winston).
He will be sadly missed by a large circle of family and friends.
The family would like to extend appreciation to the staff of the Carmelite House, B Wing, for the care that John received while being a resident.
Visitation will take place on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Greg Patey from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle on Monday at 1 PM. Interment will follow from The Pentecostal Cemetery.
