Obituary of John McCormick
John Alfred McCormick, a resident of Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham and formerly of Teeswater, passed away on Monday, December 28th, 2020, at the age of 51.
Cherished son of the late William “Bill” McCormick who predeceased him in 2006 and Marguerite McCormick (Schaefer) (née Kuenzig) who predeceased him 2016.
Missed by his devoted sisters, Connie Fischer (Paul) and Betsy Schaefer (Dennis Dobson) all of Teeswater.
Fondly remembered by his niece, Brittany Fischer (Jakub Wesolowski) and their daughter Mya of Kitchener and nephew Anthony Fischer (Stephanie Harrison) and their daughter Savannah of Teeswater.
Also survived by his uncles Gib Kuenzig and Charles Kuenzig (Ruth) all of Teeswater and several cousins.
Predeceased by aunts and uncles, Bette Poechman (Howie), Patricia Kuenzig, Yvonne Kuenzig and Eileen “Ike” Templeman (Bill), Harold McCormick and Gerald Kuenzig.
Due to provincial restrictions, a private family service will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater, with Father Michael Anderson officiating.
Spring interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Braemar Residents Council would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged on-line or through the funeral home.
