Peacefully, on February 10th, at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, John Forster in his 90th year. Loving husband to Rena Forster of 62 years. Dearly missed by his children Wendy & Perry Van Osch of Lucknow and Gary & Heidi Forster of Stayner. Cherished grandpa to Matt & Kristen Van Osch, Brad & Shawna Van Osch, Connor Van Osch & Alex Ladd, Emily Van Osch & Dallas Perkins, Kiley & Andy VanderMeer, Latasha Forster & Evan Beattie and Sheldon Forster & Sierra Patino-Steadman. Great grandpa to 5 great grandchildren. Survived by brother Lorne & Inez Forster and sisters Joan Perrott, Irma Henderson, Norma & Norm Stewart and brother in law Walter Elliott. Predeceased by parents William & Mary Forster, sister Kathleen Elliott, brothers in law Ross Henderson and Ronnie Perrott.
Cremation. A private family service will take place. Inurnment of ashes South Kinloss Cemetery in the spring. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation, Knox Presbyterian Church Choir or charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
