Obituary of John Arthur Anderson
Anderson, John Arthur a resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2020 at the age of 72. Born in Chatham, son of the late William G. “Bill“ and Margaret “Ruth“ Anderson. Cherished brother to Jean and Richard Leeson of Ridgetown, Gordon and Della Anderson of Thamesville, Louise Anderson of Fonthill, Marion Anderson of New Dundee, Sharon and Jerry Lesy of Thamesville. Loving uncle to Scott, Heather & Dan, Rebecca & Matthew, Richard & Shawna, Wesley, Nicholas & Malissa, Greg & Kristina, Ashley & Scott, Hillary & Jim, and Kate. Great-uncle to Will, Ben, Emma, Abby, Lucas, Lillian, Anora, Ruby, Vivian, Avery, and Blake. Forever missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. John farmed all of us life on the family farm. He was a life long member of St. John`s Botany Church and a member of the Tecumseh Lodge No. 245. John enjoyed his coffee and conversations with friends and neighbours. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held with Interment at Botany Cemetery. Those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. John`s Botany Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
