Obituary for
John William Kulba
On Friday, January 31, 2020, Dr. John William Kulba, B.Ed, M.Ed, Ed.D, of Edmonton passed away at the age of 87 years.
John was born on November 14, 1932, in Mundare, Alberta to Karl and Pauline Kulba. He started his career as a teacher in rural Alberta. John was determined to take his education further after his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Master of Education (M.Ed) degrees and did so by obtaining his Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) in Education Administration. With this degree, he rose up through a variety of educational administrative positions throughout the province.
John was the last surviving member of Karl and Pauline’s immediate family. His daughter and her family, his son and his family, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, survive him.
Funeral Service Thursday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre, 9649 – 71 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5J2.
