1951-2020
Peacefully with family
by his side, John William Taylor of London, formerly Dorchester,
passed away at Victoria Hospital, on July 31, 2020. He was in his 69th
year.
Loving husband of
Kathryn (nee Davidson). Loving father of Shawna Wood, Chrystal (Bryan)
Edds and Amanda Taylor(Jay), and step-dad to Carrie Bowen and Patti
Bowen. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren; Alyssa, Zoey, Michael,
Leighann, Cordelia and Griffyn. He will be missed by his mom Gertie
Taylor – Briand , and his sisters Charlene (Cecil) Merriam, Shirley
(Tom) Austin, Shelley Taylor-Laurie and Jody (Randy) Axford . Brother
in law to Bruce Davidson, Dean (Kathy) Davidson, Dan (Donna) Morrison,
Susan (Wayne) Harrison, Deb (Dan) Brotzel, Rick (Sherri) Morrison and
Jim Surgent. Uncle John to many nieces, nephews, and also leaves
behind his large extended family, many cousins and his faithful best
friend his dog “Harley”. He was predeceased by father Jack
Taylor and sister Connie.
John loved doing his
woodworking in his shop and making stained glass creations, the music
of ZZ Top, and his love for the birds, but most of all he loved his
family. As an expression of sympathy, an act of kindness
would be appreciated by the family or donations to the Canadian Lung
Association. Cremation has taken place. A Private family
service will be held with Rev Mark Belamy officiating. Online

A tree will be planted by the staff of the Evans Funeral Home, as a
living memorial to John Taylor.
