1954-2020
It is with sadness that the family of John William
Glendenning announces his death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital
on Monday, May 25, 2020, following an extensive illness. Born in
Fredericton, NB, on December 12, 1954, he was the son of the late
Isabelle Marie (Waddelow) Glendenning.
John leaves behind his siblings, Steve (Donna), Doug, Sharry,
and Peter; aunt and Uncle Joan and Don Malone; nephews Jake (Kayla)
and Ben(Nisa) Griffiths; great-nieces Nola and Landyn Griffiths; and
several cousins.
In addition to his mother, John was predeceased by his
sister, Cyndy; grandparents, Mary and Gordon Waddelow; aunt and uncle
Donna and Pete Chalmers.
John’s family expresses deepest appreciation to the
Staffs of 4NW and Palliative Care, Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for
their kind, compassionate care.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held
from the McAdam’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 24, 2020. Due to
Covid-19 restrictions attendance is limited to invited
guests only. For those who wish, donations in
John’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or
the Alzheimer Society.
