It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an extraordinary man. Cherished husband of Patricia. Beloved father of Justin, Jarrod (Alanah) and Jenna (Dylan). Stepfather to Derek Guitard (Melissa) and Amanda Hanson. Dearest papa to Savannah and Calee. Loving son to Jackie and the late Jack. Brother to Joanne Mayzik (late Frank), June Lee (Dave), Jane (late Leo), Larry (Nadine) and Sheila (late Gary). Brother-in-law to Tom (Diane), Peggy, Paul and Bob. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews. John enjoyed many close personal friendships and often called them his family. Loving mother to his children and his previous wife, Shelley Hebert. John was a dedicated and passionate Scout leader of 30 years with the 45th Scout Troop. He enjoyed working at Ventra Plastics for decades and had very pleasurable memories with his coworkers. He was proud to be a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church.
