John Simmons McCoubrey English 2020

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John McCoubrey at Saint Brigid’s Home in Quebec City on October 10, 2020 at the age of 100. He was living in Saint Gabriel de Valcartier.
Predeceased in 1980 by his wife Lois McKinley and in 2000 by his second wife Alice Paquet. Loving father and father-in law of Robert (Judy Batte), Sandra (Cliff Goodfellow), Bryce (Dorothy Noel) and Cheryl (Allan Adams). Grandfather to Rob (Lynnette), Brian (Dianne), Lori, Lisa (Andrew), Kyle, Tyler, Mallory (Samuel) and Emily (Faisal). Great-grandfather to Hailey, Taylor, Jacob, Dryden, Addison, Everleigh, Miley and Zachary. Brother-in-law to Marjorie McCoubrey.
Johnny was predeceased by seven siblings and many in-laws in the McCoubrey, McKinley and Paquet families.
He will be sadly missed by other family members and also the Valcartier community.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff on the 4th floor at Saint Brigid’s for their excellent care.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of a donation to the St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 2275 Boulevard Valcartier, Saint-Gabriel de Valcartier, QC, G0A 4S0.
A funeral service will be held at a later date to be determined.
