John Raybourne Ogden Saturday July 4th 2020

On July 4, 2020 John (Jack) Ogden passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Bowmanville Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Ogden. Dear Father of Marilyn Reid (Duncan), Donald Ogden (Carol) and Julie Lambert. Loving Grandpa to Neil Reid (Chelsey), Kelsey Reid, Ryan Ogden and Ian Ogden. Cherished Great Papa to Raelynn Reid. Predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Emily Ogden. Brother of the late Harold Ogden, Douglas Ogden, Marion Raby, Dorothy Clark, Gladys Farrow and Aileen Henderson. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family will have a private interment at Orono Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date. A special thanks to Dr. Irish and the Nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville Hospital, to Jack’s PSW’s- Suzanne and Diane, the members of the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Al & Heather and all his friends at Parkview. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
