1942-2020
John Henry Pelkey of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away unexpectedly at
his home on October 11, 2020.
John was born in California Settlement, NB, on September 17, 1942. He
was the son of the late George and Mary (Dee) Pelkey. John leaves
behind his loving wife Emily Pelkey (Watson); his daughters, Deanna
Hovey of Perth-Andover, NB, Trena Christensen (Greg) of Hillandale,
NB; his sons, Troy Pelkey of Perth-Andover, NB, and Jonathan Pelkey
(Kylie) of Aroostook, NB; 13 grandchildren and one great grandson; his
sisters; Naida DeMerchant of Perth-Andover, NB, Verna Johndro (Norman)
of Caribou, ME; his brothers, Robert Pelkey (Kathy) of Hanwell, NB,
Alton Pelkey (Heather) of Prince George, BC, Brian Pelkey of Moncton,
NB.
John was predeceased by his parents; his baby boy; his brothers
Francis and Steven Pelkey.
Resting at Calvary Tabernacle in Perth-Andover, NB, with visitation on
Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on
Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1 pm from the church. Rev. David Ferrell
officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in
California Settlement, NB.
Due to the New Brunswick Health Guidelines in regards to Covid-19,
masks are mandatory for visitation and the funeral.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Sunset Cemetery would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
