John Madore
1945-2020
John Guy Madore of Tilley, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu
St. Joseph Hospital on February 4, 2020.
John was born in Drummond, NB, on March 21, 1945. He was the son of
the late Jeannette Madore and was raised by the late Edgar and Teresa
Madore. John leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Jacqueline
Francis-Madore; his children Kim Psaila, Cameron Madore, and Jamie
Madore, all of Ontario; his step-children, Cynthia Marshall, Jennifer
Bear (Kevin), Dana Francis, all from Tobique First Nation, NB, Patrick
Francis (Candace) of Fredericton, NB; several grandchildren and two
great grandchildren; his sisters, Charlotte Hird of Fredericton, NB,
Marie Harding of Hartland, NB; his brothers, Leonard Madore (Bonnie)
of British Columbia, Louis Madore (Carol) of Ontario, and Paul Madore
(Pauline) of Grand Falls, NB.
John was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Dora Francis.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday from
12-2 pm. A celebration of John’s life will be held at the funeral home
on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2 pm. Father Curtis Sappier
officiating. Interment will be in St. Theresa’s Catholic Cemetery,
Anderson Road, NB.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Upper River Valley
Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
