Memorial Donation
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leo MacEachern, 63, of Judique which occurred suddenly at home on July 7, 2020. During his lifetime, John worked as a carpenter in Windsor and Toronto, Ontario, and in Fort McMurray, Alberta. In later years, he was employed by Judique Jobbers.
John loved his cat Maggie, his old Camaro, country music, coffee, the Toronto Maple Leafs, driving the “loop” around Judique, and pulling pranks on his friends. For many years, John suffered from COPD. Today, he is happy and breathing easy!
John will be forever missed by his brother, Dan. They were life-long companions and were always together through thick and thin.
He is survived by his siblings; Marion MacLeod (Malcolm), Dan Hughie (Arlene Cameron), Ann Marie MacDonald (Harold), Mary Elizabeth Boutilier, Evelyn, Bob (Brenda), many nieces, nephews, and their children.
John was predeceased by his parents, John MacEachern, Annie (MacDonald)(MacEachern) Cameron; step-father Jim Alex Cameron, and sister, Sally.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Judique on July 12, 2020 at 2:00pm. Donations may be made to The Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
