Legge, John: Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday Jan. 9, 2020, John Legge of New Perlican age 83 years. Predeceased by father and mother John and Hannah (Polem) Legge, son Mandel. sisters Myrtle Peddle, Lydia Newhook. Niece Linda Gosling. Nephews Billy Seward and Noel Smith. Brothers in law Sylvanus Seward, Michael Conway, Walter Smith, Clarence Newhook, Raymond Walker, Lawrence O’Brien and Lawrence Cabot. Sisters in law Mary McDonald, Josephine McDonald and Elsie McDonald. Leaving to mourn wife Annie, son Trevor (Joeann) Legge daughter Susan (Jeff) Coates. Grandchildren Natalie, Christian, Nicolas, Neve, Liam, Sam, Jenesta and Jerrica. Sisters Bertha Conway, Susie Smith, Emma (Melvin) Piercey, Ruth (Peter) Burridge. Brother in law Chesley Peddle. Sisters in law Kathleen McDonald, Ruby (Dave) Saulter, Pauline (John) Aylward, Alice O’Brien (Paul Joncas) and Ellen McDonald. Also a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Friday January 10, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday January 11 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. from Green’s Funeral Home, interment to take place in Anglican Cemetery New Perlican. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund, New Perlican.
