It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved father, John Evans, at the age of 88. He passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Predeceased by his wife Wilhelmina Squires; his siblings, Michael, Edward, James, Walter, Agnes, Helen, Margaret, Kathleen, Theresa, Mary.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Ty (Patricia), Glenn (Gail), Pamela (Rod), Penny, and his sister Alice. Also, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Palliative Care unit at the Miller Centre for their kind care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Monday, September 21st at 1 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
