Passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 10, 2020, with his family by his side, John Arnold Welburn, at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Sandra and dear father of Andrew (Andrea), Jason (Kim) and Alan (Jennifer). proud grandfather of Keitha, Evan, Paige, Claire, Gavin, Raina and great grandpa to Tyson and Weston. Brother of Clinton (Sonny) and Dave Welburn. Predeceased by his siblings Gerald, Howard, Randy and Anita Welburn as well as his parents John and Nellie Welburn. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their children. Jack was a successful and honest businessman, operating “Welburn Service” for over 40 years. His love for hockey, nascar, golf, camping, and crown royal is where many memories were often made. Jack was a devoted family man, and his friendships were just as strong. His company and conversations will be deeply missed by those that loved him.
A private family celebration of Jacks’s life will be held at the Rock Island Campground, on Saturday October 24, 2020. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
