John “George” MacNeill
1946-2020
MacNeill – The death
occurred at Andrews of Summerside, with his wife at his side, on
Sunday, March 29, 2020, of George MacNeill, of Summerside, aged 73
years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Wilfred and
Frances (Holland) MacNeill. Survived by his loving wife and best
friend Lynda (McCurrach) MacNeill; children Julie MacNeill (Dave
Doyle), Kim (Kevin) Harvey and Jeff (Marie) MacNeill; grandchildren
Molly MacNeill (Winston Gallant), Jake MacNeill (Kayla Hashie), Ethan
Harvey, Logan Harvey, Lucas MacNeill and Lauren MacNeill; sister Linda
Douglas; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother
Brian MacNeill; sister Marlene MacNeill; and by brother-in-law Gerry
Douglas. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completed
arrangements to be announced later. Interment will later take place in
St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to
Summerset Manor Auxiliary or The Children’s Wish Foundation
PEI would be appreciated.
