John David Nicholas Laws
It is with the deepest heartbreak we announce the passing of a father,
a husband and a friend, John David Nicholas Laws.
John was a hard worker and prior to his tragic passing, he was growing
antsy to get back out working again missing all his customers. He
always demonstrated a care and compassion for his customers and
family. He filled every space with his energy and his stories. John
loved all animals especially huskies. He was a loving and supportive
family man, always there in a pinch. An avid Maple Leaf fan, he
always held faith his Toronto team would win a cup for him.
Jack lacked for nothing from his Dad. Endless hours spent in the
field throwing baseballs and squatting on his bad knees to face injury
as Jack hurtled fastballs at his face. Endless drives to rinks,
fields and courts. There was no prouder Dad, certainly no father that
told bigger stories. He was also always there for his children of the
heart, whether it be a ride or to fix a car.
There is a void left in our lives bigger than any of his stories. He
will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Kim (Mc Innis); sons, Jack and Michael;
children of the heart, Lucy Harnish and Chanse Harnish; brother, Allan
and sister-in-law, Anne; sister; Michelle; nieces, Abigail, Darlene,
Maggie and Beth; nephews, Tyler and Matthew.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Hilda Laws.
