1942-2020
KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB – It is with great sadness that
the family announces the passing of John Daigle 78, of Kouchibouguac
on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Born in Kouchibouguac, he was
the son of the late Angus Daigle and late Exilda (Johnson)
Daigle. Before retiring, John was a
fisherman.
John will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Lena
(Hebert) Daigle of Kouchibouguac; one daughter, Lola Robichaud
(Gerald) of Baie-du-Vin; one son, Leo Daigle of Kouchibouguac and one
grandson, Brandon Robichaud.
He is also survived by four sisters, Bertha Robichaud
– of Lorneville, Eva Zelward (Art) of Saint John, Alice
Brooks (late Everette) of Saint John, Jean Donovan of Saint John; two
brothers, Fred Daigle (Emma), Roy Daigle (late Norma) both of
Kouchibouguac, sister-in-law, Gladys McIntyre of Moncton and many
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by five sisters,
Della, Louise, Evelyn, Rita, Emma and four brothers, Leo, Alyre, Edgar
and Raymond.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at
11:00 am, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
Arrangements are in the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto (523-4252).
