John “Chunk”‘s Obituary
LEBLANC, John “Chunk” Owen – age 70, Yarmouth, passed away with his loving family at his side on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born July 18, 1949 in Windsor, NS, he was the son of Marjorie (Mosher) and the late Paul (Tommy) LeBlanc, Yarmouth. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed playing darts, cards and going for drives. He loved to cook and bake and was well-known for his homemade bread. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Faye; daughter Stephanie (Larry) Atwood; son John (Angela) LeBlanc; grandchildren Mikayla, Justin, Kennedy, Ryan, Zach, Brayden and Abby. John is also survived by his brother and sisters; James (Sharon), Lorne (Debbie), Clarence (Leah), Betty, Pauline (Robert), Paul Jr., David, Diane (Lee), Donna (Kevin) and Darryl (Patricia) and by his side kick Mitchell Pyne. He was predeceased by a son, David. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 17 at Huskilson’s Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 18 at Temple Baptist Church, 7 Bond Street, Yarmouth, with Pastor Raymond Pitcher officiating.
