Obituary of Johanna Bertha Bleeker
BLEEKER, Johanna Bertha (Veenhof)
March 16, 1927 – November 2, 2020
It is with deep sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Johanna Veenhof. Johanna was born in Nieuwekerk Ysel, Holland and immigrated to Ontario, Canada with her husband, Stoffel in 1952, moving to Maple Ridge, B.C. in 1961 with all 5 of their children. Predeceased by her husband on September 2, 1979, Johanna continued to have a close and loving relationship with all of her children, their spouses, her 9 grandchildren and great grandchildren, until her passing. These relationships were Johanna’s most important treasures. Johanna is survived by her 5 children, Kees (Dianna), Ottolena (Ken), Honee (Doug), Roosje (Doug) and Christopher (Colleen), her 9 grandchildren, Cheri, Brandin, Sonja (Scott), Ken (Elizabeth), Tricia, Daniel (Nina), Crystele (Kyle), Kiel (Savannah), Christopher and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to McKenney Creek Hospice Residence, Maple Ridge, BC.
