The family of Joeanne Netsena sadly announces her sudden passing on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020 at the age of 75 years. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Naomi (Greg); grandsons, Gavin, Kyle, and Clayton; sister, Lodga; and brother, Richard and his family. Joeanne grew up in Eastend, SK and went on to attain her degree in Home Economics. She put this degree to good use teaching and enjoying many outdoor adventures in Northern Canada with the friends that she made there. Joeanne taught ESL in Medicine Hat and enjoyed introducing her students to Canadian culture and relished the opportunity to learn about theirs. Many happy moments and memories were made at Christmas celebrations and field trips with her students. She spent many years at the MHRH Gift shop as a volunteer, and she cherished the friendships that she made there. Joeanne was also a caring and loving grandparent who introduced her grandsons to puzzles and she enjoyed many visits and time shared with them. She will be deeply and fondly missed and remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
