HUTTER, Joseph “Joe” – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at VON Sakura House at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Sylvia Hutter (nee Sharp) for 54 wonderful years. Loving father of Joe and Susie and godfather of Leigh and Lisa Dennis and their children Megan and Allie. Proud grandfather of Gregory (Megan) and Tori. Survived by his brothers Matthew (Gayle) and Bill (Christine). Joe will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and his many many friends. Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Teresa (nee Feger) Hutter, brother John and sister Betty Mc Mullen.
Joe was the proud former spokesperson for the Alzheimer’s Society of Oxford, a member of the Stamp Club and Thursday Day Crew, he enjoyed singing with the Men of Praise and loved devoting his time to his Church, The Church of The Epiphany. The family would like to thank Dr. Sondhi and Dr. George and the phenomenal staffs at the Woodstock Hospital and Sakura House for the exceptional care that Joe received.
Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, October 16, 2020 for a public visitation from 11 am – 12:45 pm. (MASKS ARE MANDATORY). A private funeral will be held in the chapel (ATTENDANCE IS INVITE ONLY). Interment will be held in the Anglican Cemetery.
