Joanne “Joan” Margaret (Jardine) Tozer wife of the late Courtney Tozer of Sillikers, NB, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 86. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Frances (Maltby) Jardine. Joanne was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank, NB, past member of the Ladies Auxillary Branch #90, Sunny Corner, Islandview Senior Citizen and was retired from the Miramichi Hospital.
Joanne is survived by: two daughters: Claudia Mutch (Perry) of Sillikers, NB; Ann Tozer of Whitney, NB; three sons: Gary (Leanna) of Miramichi, NB; Robbie (Joyce) of Whitney, NB; Brian (Joan) of Sillikers, NB; one sister-in-law: Bodge Jardine of Miramichi, NB; 10 grandchildren: Darcie, Dallas, Robbie, Mandy, Jamie, Dylan, Courtney, Bram, Carolyn and Breanne; six great grandchildren: Piper, Nate, Dexter, Freya, Charlie and Ivy and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband: Courtney, Joanne is predeceased by: two brothers: Beverly (Peggy) and William “Bill” Jardine.
At Joanne’s request there will be no visitation. A private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Geza Szemök officiating.
Please note: Social distancing and masks are mandatory for the funeral service.
Burial will take place in the Lyttleton Baptist Cemetery later in the spring.
In Joanne’s memory, grocery gift cards will be accepted at the funeral home to be donated to the Miramichi Food Bank and expressions of sympathy can be sent through our website: www.bellsmeadows.com
