Obituary of Joan Armstrong
At Braemar Nursing Home, on Saturday, October 31, 2020, Joan Armstrong of Wingham passed away one day shy of her 90th birthday.
Beloved wife of Tom Armstrong of Wingham. Dear mother of Marion & Roy Taylor of R.R.#2 Auburn, Marlene & Merv Baker of Wingham, Noreen Walker of Wingham, Terry & Sheila Armstrong of R.R.#1 Lucknow, and Jeff & Donna Armstrong of R.R. #4, Clinton. Loving grandmother of twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Stan & Barb Hiseler of Bracebridge. Predeceased by her parents Larry & Marion (née McLeod) Hiseler, great-granddaughter Amanda Hardy and sisters-in-law Donna Craig and her husband Mel and Mary Taylor and her husband Jack.
A private family graveside will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2020 with Reverend Colin Snyder officiating. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Braemar Residents’ Council or the Alzheimer’s Society of Huron County would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
