I’ll Be Watching From Heaven
When you were just a little babe
I kept you busy so you’d behave
I told you stories about the sea,
your mom, dad and all about me
You listened with intent – your eyes aglow
You pictured yourself in the fairy-tale show
We went everywhere you & I
We traveled the world & flew through the sky
The destination we didn’t care
It was just you & me – your Grand’Mere
There is a place I must go
I’ll travel the sky – I’ll put on a show
Don’t be afraid & don’t be sad
Don’t grumble & don’t be mad
This is life! I’ve taught you well!
I’ll be watching from heaven
Just like the fairy-tale.
Dedicated to my Beloved Grandchildren
Love Nana,
Joan Marles (Soucy)
