Joan McCristall Tuesday November 17th 2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Beatrice Joan McCristall. She died peacefully in her Acton home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Scotty McCristall (1987). She is survived by her loving partner of 31 years Fred Gordon. Joan leaves behind her three daughters; Kim (Wayne), Carrie, and Connie (Stephen). She was a loving grandmother to Ryan, Chelsea, Danielle, Dillon, Jessi, Philip and Rebecca, as well as her seven great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her extended family; Paul, Patti (Jim), Craig (Colby), and Lynn, as well as their children and grandchildren. Joan will be forever remembered for her love of hummingbirds and a passion for baking. Working tirelessly for years in the local bakery up until she retired in 2000. Allowing her to spend more time boating in the Midland area with Fred (even though she still swam like a rock).
A small private funeral will be held for immediate family at
MacKinnon Family Funeral Home,
and she will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to
Parkinson Society Canada
would be appreciated by the family.
